A plush dumbbell built from layers of loose, textured fabric. You push treats down between the layers and your dog spends the next stretch of time sniffing them out.

Sniffing is the thing that actually settles dogs. It uses more of their brain than running does, and a dog that has done ten minutes of proper nosework will usually take itself off and lie down afterwards.

Honest limits

This is a soft toy. It is for sniffing and gentle mouthing, not for a dog who shreds plush. Empty it out and put it away between sessions and it will last a long time; leave it lying around with a determined chewer and it will not.
