Honest limits

It runs on mains power, so it needs an outlet nearby. The pump must stay submerged — run it dry and you will kill it, which is the single most common way these fountains die. Filters need replacing every three to four weeks depending on how many dogs use it. Rinse the pump monthly or the flow drops off.

Best suited to small and medium dogs and to multi-pet homes. A large dog will empty 2.2 L faster than you might expect.
